A functional and utilitarian axe that features excellent balance and a hand-sharpened, dual blade head.

The head features an axe for chopping wood and a horizontal mattock blade for digging and grubbing roots, bushes and small trees. The head is made from hand-sharpened 1055 carbon steel.

The handle is made from durable beech wood. Swing the weighted head with ease as its wide angle, carbon steel
split blade keeps its edge time after time. The 1/3 solid steel core through the wood handle secures the head with a tightening hex bolt and connects it to the steel pommel end to help you maneuver easily around rooting and trenching.

Edward Crockett "Ed" Pulaski (February 9, 1868 February 2, 1931) was a U.S. Forest Service ranger based
in Wallace, Idaho. On August 20, 1910, Pulaski was credited with saving all but five of his 45-man crew during
what is known as the "Great Idaho Fire,"

Garden Tool Product Care
Oiling your beach wood will ensure the longevity and keep it splinter free. A gentle organic oil such as linseed oil
is great to wipe down the wooden handles once you notice them getting dry to the touch.
This will help keep your handles looking like new and splinter free for years to come!

All of our gardening tools are made from tempered stainless steel, this is what helps them keep an edge.
If your tools dull, you can sharpen them with a sharpening stone or file and it should restore the edge like new!
